Watch The Giver (2014) Online

In this cautionary sci-fi fable, Jonas (Maleficent's Brenton Thwaites) lives in a literally monochrome world where colour, bad weather and any form of conflict have been carefully excised. He's being earmarked to succeed 'The Receiver' (Jeff Bridges), a chronicling role which allows him to enjoy experiences denied to the others. But when he sees that a 'damaged' baby is about to be 'released' from life, Jonas rebels against the conformist state. An intelligent entry in the young adult field.
