After destroying his creator, Frankenstein's monster (Aaron Eckhart) stalks the Earth for 200 years before getting a new lease of life as a contemporary superhero in this gothic sci-fi extravaganza from Pirates of the Caribbean writer Stuart Beattie. The creature - now known as Adam - is recruited by the 'Gargoyles', a benign race invisible to the human eye, to face off the threat of the evil Demons. Led by Bill Nighy's lizard-like leader, they hope to harness the electrifying secrets of Dr Frankenstein to build an army of resurrected soldiers.
