Arnold Schwarzenegger flexes his acting muscles in an audaciously novel twist on the zombie genre. He plays the father of Maggie (Abigail Breslin), a bright teenager who becomes infected with a virus that will eventually turn her into a mindless cannibal. While Maggie is placed in quarantine to await execution by the authorities, dad Arnie refuses to accept her termination and whisks her away to allow her to live her final human weeks with her family. A poignantly off-kilter treat from Henry Hobson, main title designer of TV's The Walking Dead.
