In the future, Mars is a prison colony reserved for the lowlifes who don't deserve to share the same air as the rest of humankind. But when police commander Pam 'Jackie Brown' Grier and her unit (including Natasha 'Species' Henstridge and Jason Statham) are sent to deal with the most notorious crook on the planet (Ice Cube), they discover the population has been possessed by malevolent alien spirits. Thus, cops and criminals must unite in a frantic bid to save their skins. Schlock master John Carpenter keeps the squelch factor high in this grisly, otherworldly spin on his own Assault on Precinct 13.
