Watch Cheetah (1989) Online
An American boy and girl (Keith Coogan and Lucy Deakins) living in Kenya with their scientist parents adopt a female cheetah - Duma - only to realise that they must set her free so that she can learn to hunt and survive in the wild. However, when their pet is captured by poachers planning to race her against greyhounds, the two city kids, together with a young African goatherd they befriend, head off into the bush to rescue their fleet-footed friend. The sort of old fashioned family storytelling that Disney excelled at in Walt's day, this features the phrase "Hakuna matata" which became famous when Disney released The Lion King five years later.
