Three homeless friends, Gin, an alcoholic former professional bicycle racer, Hana, a transvestite, and Miyuki, a young runaway girl, live together in Tokyo. On Christmas Eve, the three discover an abandoned newborn in the trash. Hana, who would like to be a mother, convinces the others to keep the baby girl overnight.
