Comedy's grossout kings the Farrelly Brothers bring tears to everyone's eyes in this laugh riot starring Ben Stiller as a lovestruck dupe whose efforts to woo his lost love Cameron Diaz result in one painful embarrassment after another. It doesn't help that he's vying for Mary's affections with an assortment of sneaky suitors, including Lee Evans's English rotter and Matt Dillon as the gumshoe he hired to find her in the first place. The notorious 'hair gel' scene went down in gross-out history, but that's just one of the slapsticky delights served up in the Farrellys' gut-busting banquet of bad taste.
