German WW1 air ace Baron Manfred von Richthofen has a sense of fair play and he and his cohorts often drop wreaths over the plane wreckage of their enemies. When they rescue a stranded Canadian pilot they take him to safety. There he meets Kaete, a nurse, and falls for her.
