Drama based on the novel by W. Somerset Maugham. When Larry (Bill Murray) returns from World War I disillusioned with Jazz Age values, he undertakes a quest which leads him to reject his rich fiance (Catherine Hicks) and his superficial lifestyle in order to search for truth in the Himalayas.
