Bored, widowed and 70, Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) takes a post as a senior intern at an online fashion company run by mild control freak and all-round workaholic Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway). It's not the most natural fit, but Ben's unflappable, old-school approach soon makes him the go-to guy for the whole office. With De Niro at his most endearing and a gentle line in cross-generational wit, writer-director Nancy Meyers (What Women Want, It's Complicated) delivers a comedy as cosy and appealing as your favourite dressing gown and slippers.
