Clint Eastwood plays Dr. Jonathon Hemlock - a university lecturer who carries out assassinations for the CIA in order to fund his collection of black-market art masterpieces. In order to carry out one last 'sanction' Hemlock must join a climbing expedition in an ascent of the Eiger. One of his team is the killer, but which one?
