A mysterious man (Gael Garcia Bernal) emerges from the Argentinean rainforest to help a poor farmer and his daughter (Alice Braga), who are threatened by a band of mercenaries hired to force them off their land. Think 'Shane' in the jungle as Bernal's enigmatic drifter takes a stand against the ruthless marauders.
