The Brown Bunny is both a love story and a haunting portrait of a lost soul unable to forget his past. Motocross rider Bud Clay (Vincent Gallo, also the writer, director, producer, editor and cinematographer) finishes a race in New Hampshire, then loads his bike into his van and begins a cross-country odyssey to Los Angeles for his next race. Along the way he meets three women: Violet (Anna Vareschi), a wholesome gas station attendant; Lilly (Cheryl Tiegs), a fellow lost soul; and Rose (Elizabeth Blake), a Las Vegas prostitute. Arriving in L.A., Bud hopes to reconcile with the love of his life, Daisy (Chloe Sevigny).
