After the brutal execution of a pimp, Melvin Smiley (Mark Wahlberg) and his three fellow assassins are sent to kidnap Keiko (China Chow), the young daughter of a powerful film producer. When it emerges that there has been a mistake, Melvin is left to pick up the pieces and is forced to hold Keiko hostage in his house, despite the presence of his fiance and her parents.
