Blake Edwards' satirical comedy-western based on true characters who never actually met. Legendary 1920's cowboy actor Tom Mix (Bruce Willis) is set to play gunslinger Wyatt Earp in a movie. So the studio bosses hire the real Wyatt Earp (James Garner) as a technical advisor.
