Glee's Chris Colfer stars and provides the script for this cautionary tale about a high schooler who looks back on his life after falling victim to the titular act of God. Desperate to escape his small-minded, smalltown school and family, Carson (Colfer) starts a literary magazine to earn a college place far, far away. But blackmailing other students into writing the articles was perhaps not his greatest idea... Rebel Wilson co-stars as his misfit best friend, while Dermot Mulroney, Allison Janney and Christina Hendricks are all part of the family who inadvertently conspire to his downfall.
