In an attempt to get rich quick, knuckleheaded Florida bodybuilders Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie decide to force Tony Shalhoub's obnoxious entrepreneur to sign over all his assets. However, their steroid-addled kidnap goes horribly wrong and they find events violently spiralling out of control. Director Michael Bay's first delve into dark comedy shows there's more to him than battling robots. An often sharp script, some genuinely engaging performances and MOR rock soundtrack display an unlikely touch of the Tarantinos.
