A pair of murdering drug dealers flee Los Angeles and, at the insistence of their accomplice Fantasia (Cynda Williams), head for Arkansas. Their arrival is awaited by two LA cops and local sheriff Dale 'Hurricane' Dixon (Bill Paxton), who is eager to dispense his own brand of small-town justice to the big city criminals.
