After raising their son for six years, well-to-do architect Ryoto and his wife Midori are stunned to learn that he is actually the child of another couple, accidentally switched with their own baby at birth. On meeting the working class couple in question, Ryota decides it's for the best that the boys should be swapped back. But Midori has other ideas. The age-old question of nature versus nurture is intelligently mulled over in this gently persuasive drama from Japan.
