He appears as if from nowhere on the outskirts of a snow swept timeless to rescue a local boy from drowning in the river. He is hailed as a miracle worker and the town's local men folk go out of their way to make him feel at home. Kosmos is an unusual man. He doesn't appear to eat or sleep and scales trees with animal like ability. When it becomes clear that he would rather steal than work to repay the hospitality they have shown him the locals soon start to tire of their most recent inhabitant. He rustles some more feathers when he declares that he is looking for love...
