Taking his fianc�e Rae (Nia Long) on a road trip to the Grand Canyon, Michael Dawson (Jamie Foxx), a bigmouthed Chicago businessman, reveals that he's spent the $15,000 meant for their new home on a vintage Studebaker, the very car they're driving in. Incensed; Rae storms out of the vehicle and hitches to Las Vegas.
