A humble farm boy is thrust into a cataclysmic battle between good and evil when he chances upon a dragon's egg. John Malkovich leads this dynamic adaptation of teenage author Christopher Paolini's fantasy saga as the evil King Galbatorix while flaxen-haired newcomer Ed Speleers is the dragon-riding farmhand who could save the kingdom. Less forboding than the tales of Middle-earth, but a visually arresting and fleet-footed adventure none the less.
