Michael J. Fox stars as young, brash and brilliant Dr. Benjamin Stone, who completes his residency at a gritty Washington D.C. hospital and heads out on a road trip to California for fun, sun and lots of money as a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon - Doc Hollywood.But his plan turns to chaos when Dr. Stone takes an unforeseen, unwanted and unexpectedly long detour in Grady, South Carolina.
