Single mother and recovering drug addict Ashley (Kate Mara) is taken hostage in her own apartment by escaped con Nichols (David Oyelowo), who is on the run in Atlanta after shooting dead four people - including the judge at his trial. However, they find themselves connecting thanks to a religiously inspiring book that was given to Ashley by a fellow addict. A suspense thriller with big questions on its mind.
