Following in the choreographed steps of 2000's 'Bring It On' this feel-good college movie sequel follows California State University Freshman, Whittier (Anne Judson-Yager), in her roller-coaster first year away from home.College turns out to be pretty far removed from high school and despite making some really good friendships Whittier decides to join the cheerleading squad. Almost overnight she's a campus sensation but as her popularity grows with the in-crowd she realises she has been neglecting the people that really care about her. When Tina, the snobby, fascistic head of the cheerleading squad realises where Whittier's allegiances lie Whittier is fired from the team, crushing her hopes of performing at the National Cheerleading Championship. But with a rabble of campus misfits willing to help her out in any way they can, Whittier discovers that her hopes of representing her college at the Championship may not be lost after all.
