Teenagers Rand and Jena Thompson reluctantly move from Chicago to Africa with their scientist father, only to discover orphaned cub Elsa. Elsa has been raised by Ellie Porter and her daughter Val, but now faces life in a zoo. Rand and Val set about reviving Elsa's natural instincts for survival.
