Career criminal Frankie (Adrien Brody) emerges from jail after taking the rap for a job committed with his brother James (Hayden Christensen) sixteen months earlier. In the meantime, James has turned his life around, got a job and won back his girlfriend (Jordana 'Fast & Furious' Brewster). However, Frankie wants payback and - together with underworld hoodlum Sugar (hip-hop star Akon) - persuades the reluctant James to take one last job - a bank heist in New Orleans.
