Meg Ryan comes out fighting in the based-on-fact tale of Jackie Kallen, a female boxing promoter determined to make an impact in a man's domain. The occasionally leaden-footed drama is lifted by Ryan's feisty performance and some sharp exchanges with Omar Epps as her criminal-turned-contender.
